The history of the Hommanäs estate goes back to the 15th century. In the 17th century it was owned by the noble Wrede family. In the 18th century it was the home of the renowned Finnish partisan leader Tapani Löfving.
The oldest part of the manor house, built in Empire style, dates back to the mid-1750s. The traditional yard has outbuildings from the 19th century. Café Löfving, open in summer, is housed in an old barn. Today Hommanäs Manor and estate are very much part of the rural landscape, offering guests a genuine experience of the countryside.
